I have done Rescue Mission events before and loved them. It is wonderful to see people smile and know that in some way I helped cheer them up just by doing a simple act, like bagging green beans. I also enjoyed working with the Interact group and getting to know them better. I find inspiration from kids younger than I am who are willing to volunteer. Working with We Care is nice and I plan on helping them out in the future, maybe with a book drive or volunteering with the food distribution again.
