I wanted to help out with this event because it was a way to give to some people in the community what they truly wanted and needed at Christmas time. Christmas can be a difficult time of year and just doing this simple act of kindness was really rewarding. It was also a great way to build the friendships and teamwork of the group. Participating in Operation Santa Claus really inspired me to give more back to and better understand this community.
